African Goose Hatching Eggs

African Geese are a large, heavy-bodied domestic goose variety known for their impressive size, calm disposition, and excellent productivity. They are easily recognized by their prominent knob, thick neck, and broad body structure.

Our African Goose hatching eggs come from a well-established breeding flock maintained for fertility, temperament, and overall quality. African Geese are valued both as productive layers of large eggs and as strong grazing birds, making them a practical choice for farms and homesteads.

Goslings hatched from these eggs will grow into large, substantial geese with strong bone and classic African type. As with all geese, growth is steady, and full size develops over time.

You are purchasing goose hatching eggs. We do not currently offer live goslings or adult geese; we only offer hatching eggs. Please understand that we collect our eggs freshly. Our farm limits orders to 5–6 total orders per flock at any given time.

We are an NPIP & AI certified farm located in North Florida. We test fertility monthly and maintain appropriate gander-to-goose ratios to ensure strong fertility. We cannot guarantee hatch rates, but we do guarantee that eggs leave our farm fresh, fertile, and well packaged.

Eggs are packaged with extreme care. Each egg is individually wrapped, placed into a carton, then double boxed with ample cushioning material to give your eggs the best possible chance of arriving safely.

Important Hatching Egg Disclaimer:

We do not guarantee a hatch rate. Many factors outside our control—including postal handling, temperature fluctuations, and incubation methods—directly affect hatch success. Once eggs leave our farm, we cannot replace or refund them due to a poor hatch.

Please make sure you are prepared prior to incubating your eggs using proper goose hatching practices. If you need assistance with your hatch, feel free to contact us.

No refunds. No exceptions. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with shipped hatching eggs.

Hatching eggs

Hatching eggs are collected freshly 2-4x a day. We only offer hatching eggs if we are able to collect your eggs within 5 total days. Typically, we can collect your order in as little as 1-2 days. However, we may have multiple orders when you place your order, so please check the processing times on each breeds description. We typically pull the inventory on a specific breed if the wait will be longer than a month. If you need a better estimate please contact us directly.

Shipping

Hatching eggs are shipped individually wrapped in bubble wrap. Each egg is placed into an egg carton, which is also bubble wrapped. This box is filled with shredded paper for buffer. The box is then placed into a second, larger box and buffered. This allows the best hatch rate.

Plants are shipped Monday-Wednesday only. They are packaged in rolled cardboard and poly fill to avoid breakage.

Care information

Hatching eggs should be treated as described in our hatching guide.

Plants should be kept in their pots and allowed 1-2 weeks to acclimate to your home prior to repotting.
